Questions
Common worries, answered
Something missing? Write to info@getfairhavendata.com. A real person reads it.
Do we give up ownership of our records?
No. You license a copy. Your originals stay yours, untouched, in your own systems.
Can we choose what is included?
Yes, in writing. Any inbox, folder, tool or time period can be left out.
Will our clients or employees be identifiable?
No. Names, companies, addresses and account numbers are replaced with placeholders or removed in the copy.
Who buys it? Will it be public?
AI labs buy it under a license. It is never published and never sold to the public.
How is the final offer set?
The estimate uses your headcount, years of records and location. The final offer comes after we review your systems and data volume, and you get it in writing.
When do we get paid?
Once the AI lab accepts the data, typically net 30. Start to finish usually takes about 60 to 90 days.
What does it cost us?
Nothing upfront. The buyer pays. You give a few hours of an admin's time.
How do you make money?
The buyer pays us a finder's fee when a deal closes. It does not come out of your offer, and we disclose it in writing before you sign.
Are we legally allowed to sell?
It depends on your industry and contracts. We don't give legal advice. Firms with confidentiality duties, such as law, accounting, healthcare and finance, should check with their own counsel first. The buyer's legal team reviews the scope before any export.
Is our company too small, or too large?
No. Companies of every size apply, from small teams to large enterprises. Buyers set their own minimums, and the estimate shows how headcount and years change the value.
